When the Pacific Palisades fires changed our community, our building was thankfully spared—but we were unable to return to our office for nearly a year.
During that time, our practice operated from a temporary location, seeing patients only on Fridays and Saturdays. Each weekend, our team carried our instruments, materials, and treatment setups with us, unpacking everything before long days of caring for patients and packing it all away again when the weekend was over.
It wasn’t easy, but giving up was never an option.
We remained committed to our patients and to the community that has supported us for so many years. Throughout this journey, Dr. Valencia also made it a priority to support other beloved Palisades businesses, including the Palisades Gift Shop and Palisades Garden Cafe, where she would often pick up lunch for the team. She also continued participating in traditions that bring our community together, including running the annual Palisades Turkey Trot.
At the end of the year, we were finally able to return to our office. Coming home was an emotional and deeply meaningful moment—one made possible by the patience, encouragement, and loyalty of our patients, team, friends, and neighbours.
